Champ was conceptualized under the slogan "Champ, the animation champion," mainly targeting children aged 4 to 12 years. It is a family-oriented animation channel that can be enjoyed by all members of the family.

Exclusively designed for cable TV audiences, Champ centrally organizes popular domestic and overseas animation created after 2000 and exclusively broadcasts the popular content of JETIX, a new children's entertainment channel under the control of Walt Disney, by dividing the content into blocks. At the same time, it reprogrammed the Ghibli masterpieces produced by the Miyazaki Hayao studio, the leader in theater animation in Japan, to allow viewers to watch them in the comfort of their homes.
