Opened in April 2005, Launched in 2005, Xports continues to deliver premier sporting events to Korean sports fans 24/7. From Opening day to World Series ? Xports provides complete coverage of Major League Baseball all season long. Xports aired more than 700 live games of 2005 and 2006 Major League Baseball including Korean players such as Chan-ho Park, Byung-hyun Kim, Jae Seo and Shin-soo Choo.
Xports also delivers superstars and marquee match-ups of KBL (Korean Basketball League) as the official broadcasting company. Xports covered 60% of 2005-2006 KBL games.
In 2006, Xports brings Seung-Yeop Lee’s historic home run chase live from Japan and aired football matches organized by Asian Football Federation (AFC) including preliminary rounds of 2007 Asian Cup, AFC Champions League and youth/women’s championships.
